Two rocket warship: "ORP Piorun" and "ORP Grom" and anti-submarine corvette "ORP Kaszub" perform fire tasks with the use of artillery weapons, thus improving the procedures associated with crisis situations, which may occur during operations at sea. The "ORP Piorun" crew performs mocked rocket attacks and artillery firing from the 76-mm universal AK-176M cannon and the AK-630M quick-fire cannon for surface purposes. The second of the "ORP Grom" ships is to hinder the execution of tasks by the "ORP Piorun" crew, among others by performing sham attacks and avoiding counterattacks. In turn, "ORP Kaszub" shooting artillery leads from three types of cannons: AK-176, ZU-23-2M and a universal 35 mm cannon Tryton.

During the certification exercise of III rotation Polish Military Contingent in Latvia, the tank company commander practiced fire support procedures (Call For Fire). The tank company is preparing in the international environment CFF procedure also in English.

The 120mm self-propelled mortar "RAK" chassis is a Finnish Patria AMV transporter specially adapted to the requirements of the Polish Army (including a reduced width to enable transport by plane) and produced in Poland under the name "KTO Rosomak" ("Wolverine" in English). The turret with weapons is entirely Polish.
On May 30, ships of the Polish Navy 8th Coastal Defense Flotilla (8.FOW) left the ports of Świnoujście and Gdynia heading for the port of Klaipeda. Thus, the 8.FOW sailors begin their participation in the largest international exercise in the Baltic this year - BALTOPS 18.
