Sometimes S**t just happens
It happens more often than you might think or expect. About 10-20% of all the missile firings I saw ended up as failures
The missile has destructed at the top of it's apogee and the frigate has rapidly moved and turned her stern to the missile body in the drink. The missile body/warhead has continued to burn in the ocean. There is a real danger to the frigate until the missile burns out
