Reginald John (Reggie) PRIMMER. Asststant Steward, Merchant Navy on S.S. Kenbane Head (Belfast)
Born 1921 to John and Violet Primmer, nee Tanner of The Square Portaferry County Down, Northern Ireland.
Lost at sea during HMS Jarvis Bay Convoy HX 84, 9 November 1940 aged 19 years when his ship was shelled and sunk by the German Pocket Battleship Admiral Scheer in the Atlantic Ocean west of Ireland with the loss of 23 of her 47 crew.

Commemorated on a family memorial at Ballyphilip Catholic Churchyard, Portaferry, Northern Ireland also on the Tower Hill Memorial, London.
