Francis McCOUBREY (Snr)

Francis McCOUBREY. Joined the army aged 45 years and 7 months on the 26th June 1908 at Newtownards, County Down, Ireland. He was Private 5692, 4th Royal Irish Rifles, Special Reserve. His wife's surname looked like, Carvill and he had five children, Frank, William James, Hugh Henry, Mathew and Ellen. He was the father of Francis (Frank) who fell in the Great War.
