Albert Henry CREW. Able Seaman, J74774 Royal Navy on HMS Calypso. Born 12th December 1899 at Tottenham, London to William John and Frances Eliza Crew, nee North of 12 Chelmsford Terrace, Chelmsford Road, Southgate, London. Enlisted 17 July 1917 on HMS Powerful, occupation prior to enlistment, coal roundsman. Died 15th March 1921 aged 21 years at Central Hospital Hospital, Floriana Malta from a fracture of the base of his skull as the result of a bicycle accident. No other person was to blame. His mother of 12 Chelmsford Terrace Old Southgate N 14 was informed of his death.
