Not my picture, but picked up a slightly used (maybe 50 rounds through it) Sig Sauer X-Change kit to convert my compact to a full size. Heading to the range tomorrow to try it out. I did have to modify the grip module by adding in the slots to fit the thumb safety as the modules don't come from Sig with the slots. Took maybe 15 minutes to drill and slice them out.

From Sig's website:

What the slots look like, also from the Sig site.

Picked up three 17rd mags as well.

Just bought a Hazard4 Kato tablet/notebook bag for my travels specially in Europe this year. Wanted a shoulder bag that wont attract much from thieves etc, specially when travelling abroad...
173254

... it has a hard plastic lower for the front flap and found out that if I placed my Glock there, it wont imprint and I can just lift the flap away for security to inspect the rest of the bag.

*will take out the patches and the glock when in Europe.

LOL good idea mate mil-smile04
though having been to Paris, last year I had a sense that the Glock would have been needed there more than in my day to day here in Manila. Just noticed that the Parisian Police were tense all the time... but yeah I heard European authorities and border security would frown upon a foreigner carrying a Glock, a map from Paris to Spain and a rental. just gives a wrong vibe i guess

they'd especially hate it if it's a 9mm. AFAIK that caliber is a no-go for civilian gun owners (other than private security I presume) due to the french considering it to be a caliber for combat use. So even just shipping that stuff through France - if you go abroad for a shooting competition or what not - is probably a felony.

edit: for something on-topic - I've recently bought a cocktail shaker. I very rarely drink alcohol and if I do it's usually mead, wine or porto. After having tried some basic cocktails like Mojito or Whiskey Sour though I really liked the taste and it's pretty nice to be able to whip up a cocktail or two when having people over.
