It is indeed! But they will be phased out soon and replaced by 18 AW169M from the Italian Leonardo.

AB212-Crews are cleaning snow from fir and larch trees by "Downwashing". This is in order to prevent that tress breaking form a snow overload cut high power lines.

On June 9th 1994 a 22 year old enlisted men of the ÖBH got ditched by his girl. The bugger got drunk as a monk and went for a joyride with an M-60 tank. The authorities were unsuccessful in trying to stop the M-60. The Police SWAT team fired 2070 rounds from "assault rifles", to no avail. In the end a police convoy accompanied the rogue tank. After ten miles the lovesick driver hit a bridge and the tank was finally stopped. About a dozen cars had been destroyed, a bus was toppled, several street light masts felled and a high power line cut! The poor sod was sentenced to half a year prison and he had to pay 145.000 € for the damages he caused.
