Last night we got our first snowfall of the season. 3 inches or 7.62cm. The snow did not "stick" to the pavement because the pavement is too warm. Fortunately! It's supposed to snow tomorrow evening into the 31st. My wife took these photos this morning.

Yesterday Morning .. and This afternoon . The Squirrels in Kelvingrove are far more tamer than the ones in the local woods where i stay due to the tourists feeding them . I saw the oppertunity and took it .

Was at North Las Vegas airport last week when five or six Apaches turned up. Wasn't until later that we realised that they weren't US frames but were Republic of Singapore Air Force.

It snowed about 6 inches(15.24cm) on OCT 30th into the morning of Halloween...A couple of pix my wife took Oct 30th.....The snow was almost completely melted by Halloween evening.
only problem with that is we get it 6 weeks later :(

I went collect mushrooms with a cousin of me this morning, both have a very flexible worktime, so we can choose the perfect day even midweek. It´s a tradition in October-November over the last 12 years, and we take this oportunity to scape from each one problems, and obtaining some tasty mushrooms and several hours walk.
