No where in the article does it state that the USN officer was on the bridge when the accident occurred. The article states;
Let's us wait and see what comes out of this investigation. I don't know how the NN would investigate this incident but the USN would initially hold all those personell on watch on the bridge and deck lookouts accountable.
from the article.. After the NRK is informed, the US officer must have had a central function on the bridge ahead of the collision, but did not have formal responsibility.
Thank you for the response. If he was on the bridge on watch or any other capacity..He was partially responsible along with the others.....he's in big trouble.
