1991: On the way into Kuwait City you could see a lot of destroyed Iraqi armour which was probably hit during the battle of al-Khafji. This tank was probably only about 10 or so km from the Saudi-Kuwait frontier crossing.

why some t-54/55 painted blue color?

For recognition purposes. SLA existed between 1977 and 2002. At the same time, various militias in Lebanon to say nothing of the Syrian military operated T-55s in significant numbers in the same area, so "unusual colors" were as FoF to prevent friendly fire incidents.
