An off-duty soldier has died following a parachute jump in County Londonderry.
Sergeant David Halls, 43, who was from Bangor in County Down, had been taking part in a jump at the Wild Geese Parachute Centre, near Garvagh.
The police said his death would be investigated by the British Parachute Association.
However, it is not thought there are any suspicious circumstances.
