Interesting fella, just shows how one good sniper can confuse and demoralise an enemy, in this case one much larger than his own.
His actions forced Russia to make decisions they would not have normally made, like the carpet bombing. This action would not have taken place if it were not for him and would have left those aircraft free to bomb elsewhere (perhaps civilian areas).
