On January 22nd, 1997, the first flight with the C-130 B Hercules aircraft took place in Romania.
In the over 20 years of service with the Romanian Air Force the C-130 aircraft flew over 30.000 hours, carrying over 40.000 passengers and 10.000 tons of freight , crossing the planet from China to the US and from the North Polar Circle to Indonesia or Angola.
