The Romanian RECCE platoon, recently deployed to Bulgaria as part of the NATO Forward Land Forces Battlegroup (Italy framework nation), has begun its training with its comrades from North Macedonia. They tested urban combat procedures in harsh winter conditions.
Since January 2025, Romania has joined the Multinational Battle Group in Novo Selo, becoming one of the 10 Troop Contributing Nations alongside Italy, Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Turkey and the United States of America.
