One of the less photographed ships of the PN, the hidrographic Afonso de Albuquerque A526 (1966-1983), derived from the british Bay class frigates.
After 1983 until the early 90s it served as accomodation ship at the Alfeite Arsenal
It was scrapped in 1994.
