Recent protests in Georgia amidst the passing of a controversial foreign-agent bill, resulted in a violent clash between several thousand protestors and the police in front of the Parliament building in Tbilisi. The dispersal began when a number of protestors started tossing heavy rocks and molotov cocktails / petrol bombs into the tightly packed ranks of the Riot Police. This fact is documented in many footages released by the MIA and other media. Pepper spray, water cannons and tear gas were deployed by the police. There is also ( and in Western media almost exclusively only ) footage of that. However because of the fact, that those media outlets try to spin the event like evil police was just attacking peaceful demonstrators, I honestly don't care about their spin. There were many injured on both sides, which is the tragedy. Regardless of political stance, the truth shouldn't be distorted and these type of behaviour should be avoided as best as possible.
