Oh, I don't know. The Kurds will fight, the Shiites will fight, the Druze, Alawites, Yazidis will fight. Hell... I'd bet the Sunnis will even fight. Also, probably not a good idea to issue idle threats against Israel.
I mean, even Hitler stated that he has "no new territorial demands".
Why should Turkey support Hezbollah we have hunderds of martys against PKK but this are not only Kurdish group we fight, we have also losses against islamic Kurds called Kurdish Hezbollah. Iran is not friend of Turks anyway they supported Armenia while Israel save Azeris aka eastern Turks. Azeris can mend fences between Turkey and Israel after things calm down. However, as for Israel, Turkey's involvement in Syria, which is a new sandbox, is more important than Gaza, so cooperation is more important than confrontation.

There was a lot of Palestinian volunteers in SAA that shelled Turkish bases btw Hamas is not friend of Turkey either so to be honest why the F*** erdo host them in Turkey is questionable.
The Pentagon said Thursday that there are about 2,000 U.S. Troops in Syria, a number that is more than double the 900 troops reported previously by the DoD for months.

Did anyone else get the feeling the US has been more directly involved than what has been portrayed?

Fox News previously reported that the U.S. had 900 troops in Eastern Syria, but now that number is about 2,000, and they would likely have to withdraw if the allied Kurdish fighters retreat under attack from Turkey’s military, which views the Kurds as a terrorist threat.
As the Russian convoy passes all that abandoned Syrian armor, it makes you wonder how things would have turned out if the Syrian Army was willing to fight.

Considering what the opposition was made of, I suppose an airborne force (rotary wings) could have done a significant amount of damage, sufficiently for, then, ground forces to deal with the remnants.
Syria didn't have (even less so now, due to Israel's strikes) many of these units though.
Basically, if only Syria (excluding Russia's involvement) v Opposition then it could have turned into a slow mechanized v mechanized conflict; with localized and inaccurate air strikes now and then.
Syria, on its own, wouldn't have fared much better if it had put on a fight; only more dead and leveled cities.
