Big assumptions indeed! But let’s get something straight: YPG doesn’t represent 'free Kurds.' It’s more like a group with its own political agenda, which often clashes with the interests of the broader Kurdish population.

There are also Kurdish groups under SNA like Kurdish Hawks Brigade, Hamza division & Kurdish Falcon Brigade. Up to 6K Kurdish FSA fighters.
