FUERZAS COMANDO
CHILE 2019

Since 2004, the Fuerzas Comando event has taken place, in which elite soldiers, specially selected, participate in a competition that puts them to the test over a week and then determine who are the best. The selection is implacable; the tests, strenuous. Nine Colombians will represent the Colombian Armed Forces facing nineteen Armies of the continent, where the competitors will challenge 20 kilometers races, arriving at a field that they cross with a backpack of 20 kilos. The snipers shoot after running for several kilometers with an iron ball of 25 kilos. There are gun and rifle shooting ranges, urban and rural assaults and rescue kidnap simulations in which every second removes points. Tests that do not differentiate between day and night.

This year the international competition reaches its XVI edition with headquarters in Chile, contest that will evaluate different disciplines and capacities of military and police teams from different countries of the hemisphere.
