I own an RAF thornycroft Mighty Antar, with a 50 ton Dyson plant transporting trailer ex airfield construction branch, and an ex RAF, then Navy AEC Matador.

I own an Eager Beaver that was in the Falklands in 1982, and I am trying to find out more about its role there.

My Wife Andi has an Austin K9 and a Scammell Explorer.

We take these, and a Civilian Douglas Transporter , ex Heathrow Airport artound what shows we can afford to get to. (Antar returns about 2.75 MPG!)

Hello antarmiker and welcome, - that sounds like quite a collection! Have you posted any pics of them yet?

There is a picture of the Eager Beaver in the Falklands thread. I'll get round to putting some photos up when I work out a site map for this forum and decide where they will best fit.

Here is me with the Antar to keep you going...

Hi Antarmiker,

I live just down the road at Gainsborough. In the gallery under my name is me and another medic sat in the back of a K9 ambulance.
