Indo-Bangladeshi Joint Exercise Sampriti 8

The Bangladesh contingent, represented by 36 East Bengal Battalion, while Indian side, represented by 9th Battalion the Rajputana Rifles took part in the two-week long exercise that will see them hone their tactical and technical skills in countering insurgency, counter terrorism and aid to civil authorities for disaster management in an UN peace keeping scenario involving a combined deployment at a battalion level.

Both sides will jointly train, plan and execute a series of well-developed tactical drills for neutralisation of likely threats that may be encountered during simulated UN peace keeping operations. The experts from both sides will also hold discussions to share each other’s experiences in varied topics for mutual benefits.

Could anyone enlighten me on what is that thing attached to their guns?

Kira.

These are paintball guns and the black "bubble" loking stuff is their bb tanks. Using painball guns for training is a common thing for military but without essential equipment like the face protection here we see from the pic can be very dangerous.

Thank you for informing.
The equipment was Indian and the exercise was held in India too so I think its their responsibility for the lack of safety.

A royal air force c-130 at Dhaka.
Bangladesh signed a deal with RAF to purchase two C-130J for BAF, making bangladesh the eigth country in Asia to have that variant of of c-130.
