Nui Dat, South Vietnam. 1968-12. Comedian Johnny Holmes of Coogee, NSW, entertains troops at the Luscombe Bowl at the 1st Australian Task Force Base (1ATF) at Nui Dat. He was the compere of a Government sponsored concert party which performed for troops at Nui Dat, Vung Tau, Saigon, Phan Rang and Danang. During their 16 day visit to Vietnam, the entertainers performed for more than 30,000 Australian and US soldiers.
