Photos Armenia v Azerbaijan

I can't see how the Armenians can continue to sustain the losses they are. They seem to be taking a beating, and the drone attacks have got to be decimating morale surely?

If this was a walk in the park Azerbaijan army would already be parading in Yerevan. Azerbaijan loses are not that publicised, but some information I have come across would put their casualties in the hundreds if not in the 4 digit ranges already.
I tend to think that Armenian forces on Karabak could be near breaking point, but before that moment arrives, I think that Armenians are going to pull up the ante and escalalate. Beheadings and executions dont give civilians and soldiers a good incentive to lay down the arms and start a new life under new management. This conflict is religious/tribal full balkan style with centuries old hates.
After Armenia throws everything at Azerbaijan, only god knows what comes next. Bear riders, Kebap removers, Janissars, Turk Wolves. Jeeeeeez........ seems that 2020 can always surprise you no matter how surreal you are ready to go.

What a mess.
May the killed servicemen on both sides RIP.

Agree, the Armenians probably see it as a Masada situation. Also Japan 1945 comes to mind. This isn’t some distant protectorate, and really what would the azeris accept? They will want all of nk, which they don’t have today, so may as well play on, the horse may indeed sing.

While the Canadian optics can be replaced by domestic products, I’m not sure about engines.
Turkey cooperates with Ukraine and it sold the latter a number drones. Some Ukrainian companies, like Moto Sich, produce engines, but some people say they don’t produce any engines suitable to this size of drones.

I'm not suggesting the Azeris are having a cakewalk either, but the method and means of armenian losses are going to be particularly insidious to morale as they seem to have no effective counter yet.

And lets not forget as a percentage of population the Armenian losses are much worse.

Again the problem is that Armenia can't visually confirm a large portion of their claims, but Azerbaijan has been sharing actual visual proof of daily losses. Not to say Azerbaijan does not have casualties, just that Azerbaijan has been more transparent about their exploits in the conflict.

I mean the poster says they found the casualties from open sources, but does not provide the sources nor does the individual allow anybody to respond to their tweets? Saying its proof is not necessarily proof.

Azers are more transparent about their succes but totaly closed regarding their losses.

Significant difference between the two bro, sorry.

Whereas Azerbaijan might not be disclosing its full losses there is no proof to substantiate either way. We just know its substantially less than what Armenia is claiming.

On the other hand Azerbaijan is documenting pretty well how much damage they have inflicted.

Its impossible to argue visual evidence vs no visual evidence.

I didnt discused that. I just said that Azers are hiding their losses. So we do not know how big they are. I do not know why you cliam that their losses are substantially smaller as we have no info at all.

Unless either of you have been appointed Minister of Defence, or annointed by God, I'd say you are arguing a pointless argument. Have at it.

Its entirely possible we will never know the true casualty rate, but I would say its probably appalling by western standards.

UK losses since WW2.

I would imagine we are into thousands on each side.

And frankly most pictures tell me this is worthless land, hardly fit for goats.

Its sad to see so many mostly young men die, for such an issue.
