A tornado outbreak with several twisters struck the Westphalia region of Germany last night, injuring fifty people and causing damage running into the tens of millions. Thirty people were seriously injured in the city of Paderborn, where an F2 touched down in the inner city. (Source, in German)

Judging by the sheer volume of footage from Paderborn alone, I can't help but suspect the blood toll didn't need to be that bad.
Germans just don't give a toss about weather warnings.

Yikes! I totally missed that bit of news. Church towers ripped off? Seriously? As if last year's flood in some of those parts weren't enough... :(

A Serious design flaw ,,, when the water can't even reach the flames .

The hoses are only there for boundary cooling to try to stop the fire spreading internally. They would have put it out by starvation inside the funnel (Y)

...................................People were still alive inside when she finally sank

A regional train with 140 passengers on board derailed in south-eastern Germany last night, leaving at least 4 people dead and 43 injured. A single-figure number of victims is still missing and believed to be trapped underneath a barely accessible section of the train. Local authorities have credited 15 off-duty soldiers who happened to be on the train with rescuing many victims immediately after the accident. (Source, German)

Another pic of those stairs on a different day, taken at Point Panic bodysurfing break. Its on the westside of the channel into Kewalo Basin small boat harbor.

Lots of speculations going on at the moment.
Though the most crucial, dubious, initial one has been announced as being false.

But considering since an Osprey was involved, the list of "nuclear material" being transported was pretty small to begin with.

Where did the "nuclear material" bit come from anyway?? Osprey's are prone to crash anyway...a rather deadly vehicle! :(☹️

Absolutely no idea where the initial claim came from, and I have a very hard time making any sense of it.

First I can't imagine the reason why the USMC would be asked to ferry "radioactive materials". Nuclear power plants have their own "catering services" when it comes to transport and dispose of nuclear wastes. Plus, and though I am not familiar with the kind of confinement measures usually required, I don't think an Osprey would be anywhere near the required specifics to carry out such a task.
Also... transporting that kind of material via the air? No. Just no.

Or nuclear weapons since they are under the custody of the US Navy and USAF, so I would imagine both the Navy and the Air Force have the adequate means to do that kind of work themselves.
