The people from Tower Street in east Belfast have honoured the fallen of The Somme in Spectacular style by building a living memorial to their fallen.

The Thiepval Memorial to the Missing of the Somme is a war memorial to 72,246 missing British Empire servicemen, who died in the Battles of the Somme of the First World War between 1915 and 1918, with no known grave.
George Frederick Jordan who served in the 10th Battalion Cheshire Regiment and who was severely wounded and gassed during the battle of the Somme, 100 years ago. He survived the war but died in the early 1930's as a result of emphysema.
