SEMPLE Brothers.​
Below are sons of George and Ellen Jane Semple of Donaghdee, County Down, Northern Ireland.
Irish 1901 census, both residing with their parents and siblings a 22 East Street, Donaghadee.
1911 census, both residing with their parents and siblings a 10 East Street, Donaghadee. Their mother is names as Eleanor Jane.

William SEMPLE. Rifleman 16999, 13th Royal Irish Rifles.
Born 08 August 1884 to George and Ellen Semple, nee Niblock at Ballywilliam, County Down, Ireland.
Killed in action on the 1st day of the Battle of the Somme, France July 1916 aged 32 years.
His mother was granted a war gratuity 18 August 1918 revised 06 October 1919.

Robert James k/a Bobbie SEMPLE. Rifleman 16998, 13th Royal Irish Rifles
Born 04 January 1897 to George and Ellen Semple, nee Niblock of East Street, Donaghadee, Ireland.
Killed in action 08 December 1917 aged 20 years. His father was granted a war gratuity on the 02 April 1918, revised 01 December 1919.

Both are commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France, also on the family headstone in Donaghadee Churchyard, County Down, Northern Ireland.
