MFO has a very extensive Facebook page. Mostly US soldiers but I’m sure there are plenty of references to the Death March.
 
I will have to search my photos from that deployment but I’m pretty sure I have photos with some Colombian soldiers that I took a trip to Israel with.
We decided to do the tourist thing and got baptized in the Jordan river together.

Dynamic Force Exercise: Colombia and USA

Approximately 75 paratroopers of the 82nd Airborne Division of the United States Army stationed in the Fort Bragg, North Carolina military fort, and 40 members of the SOCSOUTH, arrived in Colombia on January 23 to participate in a joint airborne assault exercise that will take place until next Wednesday, January 29. During the airborne exercise, US and Colombian paratroopers will conduct an airborne training insert from Lockheed Martin C-130 'Hercules' aircraft of the United States Air Force and the Colombian Air Force, followed by tactical exercises designed to simulate capture and control of an airfield. The expert staff of the United States and Colombia will practice working in a joint and coordinated manner with the main purpose of building interoperability and sharing strategic and tactical experiences. "We are honored to train with Colombia, a close friend of the United States and a global partner of NATO," said the US Navy Admiral. Craig Faller, Commander of the Southern Command of the United States. "This airborne exercise demonstrates the interoperability, lethality and professionalism of our armies," added the senior officer. The Southern Command of the US Army Routinely perform multinational exercises with strategic partners and allies throughout Latin America and the Caribbean to strengthen partnerships, develop preparedness and increase interoperability. This airborne exercise illustrates the lasting commitment of the North American country in the Western Hemisphere. Paratroopers from 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division and 82nd Airborne Division Artillery spent the last several days training alongside their Colombian partners during a U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) led Dynamic Force Exercise! The training included Airborne mission planning, Jumpmaster rehearsals, medical training, parachute rigger training and an Airborne Assault!
