He is an Orthodox priest? maybe wear a military uniform? have permission to beard?

Well you can't realy ask any Orthodox priest to shave his beard and it shouldn't be an issue to begin with.
Chaplains are not regulated to wear uniforms all the time especialy during ceremonies. They often wear ceremonial cloth, dress or robes over their uniforms.

What I find amusing about that photo is that they blurred out the ID cards of the MOD and deputy cos

Thanks a lot my friend, in my country we have military chaplain and military seminary, they don´t use the beard, but any of they have military rank, we have a General of the National Police and he is a priest, in the army we haved Colonel priests.
In any units the chaplains are Officers or Non Commisioned Officers, the main number are "civilians".
Excuse me, my Georgian language level is very slow :D but i´m suppose the blurred out of the ID card maybe must complemented with blurred out of the last name of the Officers in their uniforms to accomplished the objetive :D

That is very interesting. Thanks for sharing.
In Orthodox communities it is rather uncommon that priests don't have a beard, because growing a beard symbolizes that they put their divine duty above earthly needs.
Many GAF priests are army veterans of different ranks, mostly ncos - officers etc. But not all, there are also many civilians.

I know right, or why blurr it in the first place ? cause anyone can easily look up who the current MOD, COS and every single deputy-COS is. Its literaly on their homepage
But it could simply be borrowed ID's from other ppl. That would at least make some sense ^^

Sorry, I know it's purely technical, and there isn't poor intent behind it, but I vehemently refuse to post in threads designated "former soviet nations" as it reduces millenia old cutlures to just that. I'd rather there was at least a Russia and South Caucasus seperate threads instead of that.

Thanks for the comment @Gordus, it was never an intention to insult the cultures of the many nations outside Russia. I made the thread simply as a way to group those nations that had a common point of reference and would be understood by the majority of posters and readers.

Your point is noted and I have changed the thread title to better reflect the grouping and at the same time not to confuse the thread with other thread titles. The renamed thread is now militaryimages.net/threads/ukraine-latvia-lithuania-estonia-south-caucasus-central-asia-military.7269/ which I hope is more correct. I hope this meets with expectations of yourself and other members who may have felt slighted.

I know @BravoZulu , I perfectly understand it was a purely technical decision and I would have never thought of it as an insult from you, or any of the staff. In fact you ppl are some of if not the best and most considerate staff I've seen.

Thank you very much for being so respectful and changing it the way you did, greatly appreciated.

Mountain Warfare Summer Basic Mout for 2018 completed. 33 troops from 9 NATO and Partner nations were trained in mountain warfare.
During the program the trainees were familiarized with the techniques, equipment, their rules, characteristics and safety, then utilized their knowledge to climb mountains via several methods, relocation, abseiling from mountains and other forms of movement, river and ravine crossing over mountains via ropes, with and without obstacles, providing first aid to injured, collective survival and procedures of evacuation. Certificates and badges and special certificates were given. The program continues with Winter Mout and will increase in difficulty.
