GAF in Afghanistan, Note that they are wearing Georgian made Helmets and Armor

Peacekeeping forces are using that equipment since 2014.

It would good if they were a bit more consequential about it ....

Display seems like a collection of arms used since 1991. WW2 rifles were partialy used too

Less G3, more HK33 actualy. Those were used by police units in the 1990s and were in very limited numbers also issued to some army elements, mostly crew - artillery etc as late as 2009, and SF train on both too because of exercises with / in Turkey. There were some images on MP.net IIRC

Instructor certificates were issued today for the maintanance and handling of M240B machienguns as part of the ongoing GDRP program.

36 military personnel from different branches and structures of the GAF underwent an intense two week course on technical characteristics, maintainance, safety, delay issues and their elimination as well as tactical principles regarding the machinegun. The qualification culminated in shooting tests.

Soldiers who received those certificates form the instructor base of the GAF on the M240B and will start instructing the troops on the weapon in 2019 as part of the defence readiness program.
