In April 2019, the Polish Ministry of Defense signed an agreement to purchase 4 AW101 helicopters for the Navy, in a version capable of fighting submarines and performing rescue tasks in order to replace Mi-14 helicopters.

These machines have already been manufactured and will come to Poland next year.

These pics are gorgeous. Is this a more capable army than Ukraine?
It is difficult to answer this question - we compare two armies, one of which is mobilized and in the process of war, with an army that is on peace terms. Different numbers, different mechanisms of action.

They need 6-8 more of these machines but they are very expensive.

The main task of the short-range ZROP "Mała Narew" will be to provide cover for troops and facilities in the area of operations, as well as to supplement the medium-range anti-aircraft and anti-missile fire system "Wisła" at low altitudes, operating within the national and allied air defense system. Deliveries of two fire units (i.e. one battery) of the "Małą Narew" ("Small Narew") is an element of the "Narew" program, which provides for the delivery of a total of 23 short-range ZROP batteries in the target configuration, with the IBCS anti-aircraft and anti-missile defense command system and CAMM-ER missiles with a range extended to 45 km.
