A soldier assigned to the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment, known as
“The Old Guard,” takes part in military funeral honors for Army Cpl. Lloyd Odom at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va., Aug. 11, 2021. The crest's on the shoulder lapels is that of the 3rd Infantry Regiment. The Light Blue cord (under right arm) disks under the cap badge and collar insignia, identify this soldier as being Infantry. The cord over the left arm is a "buff strap" worn only by the Old Guard.

U.S. Marines with 3rd Marine Division’s Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense Platoon hosted training with soldiers from the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force 15th Brigade and U.S. Army 1st Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group on Camp Courtney, Okinawa, Japan, Nov. 17, 2021.
