Modernization of large anti-submarine ships of project 1155 at Dalzavod
Published photos of information stands from JSC Dalzavod Ship Repair Center (Vladivostok; part of the Far East Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Center of Rosneft Group) on the changes in the course of the modernization of the large anti-submarine ship (BOD) of Project 1155 "Marshal Shaposhnikov" of the Pacific Fleet and the proposed changes for an even more radical modernization of the same type of BOD "Admiral Vinogradov".
Recall that the large anti-submarine ship of the 1st rank "Marshal Shaposhnikov" (the seventh ship of project 1155, in service since 1985) of the Pacific Fleet has been undergoing medium repair and modernization at JSC "Ship repair center" Dalzavod "in Vladivostok since 2016. Upon completion repair and modernization works, factory sea trials of Marshal Shaposhnikov (now reclassified as a frigate) were started on July 10, 2020.
BPK "Admiral Vinogradov" (the tenth ship of project 1155, in service since 1988) is now in the combat composition of the Pacific Fleet, and, apparently, it is planned to be put for medium repair and modernization at Dalzavod immediately after the delivery of "Marshal Shaposhnikov" to the fleet.
In 2019, it was announced that two other BODs of Project 1155 of the Pacific Fleet, Admiral Panteleev and Admiral Tributs, should also undergo repair and modernization at Dalzavod.
