Born 1889 to Daniel and Jane Ann Townsend, nee Williams of Birmingham. Husband of Betsy Florence Townsend, nee Henn of 86, Solihull Road, Sparkhill, Birmingham.
Died 11 November 1918 aged 29. His widow was granted a war gratuity 25 March 1919.
