Stuart Henderson BUTCHART. Leading Aircraftman, 4081381, Royal Air Force Police, aged 22 years. On Saturday, 18th February 1956, a four engined Avro York aircraft, G-ANSY, belonging to Scottish Airlines crashed near Zurrieq. It had been chartered by the Royal Air Force and was being used to carry troops from Suez in Egypt, to the U.K., with a stop-over in Malta. Born. 5th August 1933 at Hilton, Inverness. At rest in Plot 2B. Row 2. Grave 7. Imtarfa Military Cemetery, Malta.

John James McKAY, Corporal, 1923587, Royal Air Force, aged 21 years. On Saturday, 18th February 1956, a four engined Avro York aircraft, G-ANSY, belonging to Scottish Airlines crashed near Zurrieq. It had been chartered by the Royal Air Force and was being used to carry troops from Suez in Egypt, to the U.K., with a stop-over in Malta. Born on the 5th March 1934, at Perth Scotland.

Alexander Murray BARBOUR, Leading Aircraftsman, 4014297, Royal Air Force Police , aged 33 years. On Saturday, 18th February 1956, a four engined Avro York aircraft, G-ANSY, belonging to Scottish Airlines crashed near Zurrieq. It had been chartered by the Royal Air Force and was being used to carry troops from Suez in Egypt, to the U.K., with a stop-over in Malta. Born on the 4th April 1922 at Glasgow. At rest in Plot 2B.
