Michael Joseph FLEMING, Aircraftman Class 1, 4079838, Royal Air Force, aged 21 years. On Saturday, 18th February 1956, a four engined Avro York aircraft, G-ANSY, belonging to Scottish Airlines crashed near Zurrieq. It had been chartered by the Royal Air Force and was being used to carry troops from Suez in Egypt, to the U.K., with a stop-over in Malta. Born 4th October 1934, from Wexford, Ireland. At rest in Plot 3. Row 2. Grave 31. Imtarfa Military Cemetery, Malta.

William STEVEN, Corporal 2558097, Royal Air Force Police, aged 22 years. On Saturday, 18th February 1956, a four engined Avro York aircraft, G-ANSY, belonging to Scottish Airlines crashed near Zurrieq. It had been chartered by the Royal Air Force and was being used to carry troops from Suez in Egypt, to the U.K., with a stop-over in Malta. Born on the 20th December 1933 from Provanmill, Glasgow, Scotland. At rest in Plot 3. Row 2 Grave 31. At Imtarfa Military Cemetery, Malta.
