Extended Description: Maurice Thomas COWIN, Flying Officer and Lieutenant, Royal Navy. Son of Thomas J and Isabelle Cowin. Born in Mauritius 5 January 1905. Killed in an aeroplane accident Wednesday 15 October 1930 at Halfar, Malta while flying a Ripon S3165 of No.461 (Fleet Torpedo Bomber) Flight from HMS Glorious ex-battle-cruiser, now aircraft carrier along with LAC Edward George Barker

At rest in Plot M grave 6 Capuccini (Kalkara) Naval Cemetery, Malta.
