James PERRY. Ex Royal Navy of 572 Ballysillan Road, Belfast. Born 6 January 1908 to Adam and Mary nee Lowry of 63 Killowen Street, Cregagh Road, Belfast. 1911 still with his parents at the same address. Enlisted as Boy 2nd Class J110015, 2 April 1924 on HMS Impregnable. posted to HMS Emperor of India 8 February 1925 as Boy 1st Class. He was promoted to Ordinary Seaman 6 June 1926 and posted to HMS Vivid I 20 December 1927. Posted to HMS Rodney 24 February 1920, 19 April 1928 promoted to Able Seaman. last ship served on 7 December 1928 was HMS Rodney. Died 12 October 1984 aged 77. At rest in Roselawn Cemetery, Belfast, Northern Ireland.
