Extended Description: Private 43161, 7th Lincolnshire Regiment made the supreme sacrifice in the Great War, 3rd May 1918 aged 42. Son of Herbert & Lucy of Papplewick, Nottinghamshire and husband of Annie of 23 Bowling Street, Mansfield.

Commemorated on his brother's memorial at Mansfield Cemetery, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire and is buried at Bagneux British Cemetery, Gezaincourt, Somme, France
