G004 PETER MACKINNON. Midshipman, Royal Navy on HMS Albemarle. Born 28 June 1885, enlisted 15 May 1900 on HMS Britannia. On enlistment he gave an address of 16 Clyde Park Square

Campbelltown. Died by his own hands 31 January 1904 aged 18. Suicide by shooting himself in the head whilst temporally insane. Dearly loved second son of Duncan and Margaret McKinnon of Balinakill Wills and Admin, Ancestry - Peter Mackinnon of Ronachan Clachan and of Rosemount, Campbelltown both in Argyllshire died 12 August 1904 at sea. Confirmation of Jane Love of Mackinnon, widow, and John MacKinnon and Duncan Mackinnon, merchants.
