Born 1895 to William and Mary Jane Cooke, nee Turton. 1901 residing with his parents and siblings at 9 Union Street, Ilkeston. 1911 residing with his parents and siblings at 9 Hope Street, Ilkeston, occupation, engineer’s fitter at a colliery. At the time of his death his residence was 10, North Road, Holmwood, Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Died 12 October 1919 aged 24 years.
