, 2nd Lieutenant 1/7th (Robin Hood) Sherwood Foresters Notts and Derby Regiment who was killed on October 13th 1915 aged 28 in France at the taking of the Hohenzollern Redoubt in attempting to save the life of his Seargent Major. Son of Sir Joseph and Lady Francis Ellen Bright of The Park, Nottingham. Commemorated on the family memorial at Nottingham General Cemetery, Nottinghamshire and is buried at Philosophe British Cemetery, Mazingarbe, France at Nottingham General Cemetery, Nottinghamshire
