Born 24 February 1838 died 11 December 1915. Husband of Amelia Helen.
Born 21 June 1868 to Archibald Wilson Jones Esquire. Sometime Lieutenant-Colonel commanding Fourth Battalion Highland Light Infantry and Amelia Helen Jones
Served in the South African Campaign (Mentioned in Despatches).
Died 22 February 1917 aged 49 years. At rest in Christ Church Churchyard Pontblyddyn, Flintshire Wales
This monument is erected by the surviving son.
Love is strong as death.
Memorial in Chester Cathedral.
