1.28.05 Walter James KNELLER. Corporal 1st Rifle Brigade stationed at Fort Manoel, Malta. Born 1880 at Winchester, Hampshire to Walter and Jane Kneller, nee Curtis. Enlisted 3 March 1899 civilian occupation, labourer. Died 1 October 1904 aged 23 years and 8 months. His father was granted a gratuity 5 December 1904.
