I have been browsing the web, researching my father's involvement as a winter war volunteer. You appear to be a specialist on the Finnish Winter war so I turn to you for help. I only know he was part of osasto sisu and was captured on his way home to Scotland and spent the rest of the war as a POW. Is there any other records/information out there relating to Robert William Douglas Boswell? I thank you for your time. Regards, 'Bozzie'

The fires are a long way away from where we live but of course it's always the main topic on the news. On a sad note two Volunteer Firefighters ( a man and a young women) were killed when a tree fell on their truck. Look forward to hearing from you when you have the time. Best wishes to you and yours.
Mike,
I got your message recently, long after you sent it and I responded, but I may have not done so properly, as I haven't heard from you. A belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours also and I pray the wild fires there subside soon. I also sent you a message to your email address and gave you mine as well. Take care buddy, Scott

Were you stationed at Demsey Barracks back in 1960? If so, were you there when the Americans were there? I was there from April 1960 until August 1961. Let me hear from you.
