The Pennsylvania escaped prisoner was captured thanks to the El Paso Border Patrol Tactical Team BORTAC, a federal agency headquartered in El Paso.

Pennsylvania State Police Lt. Col. George Bivens gave an update Wednesday morning on the capture of Danelo Cavalcante after a two-week search.

BORTAC is headquartered at Fort Bliss.

The team is a specialized Border Patrol group that trains at Fort Bliss and is sent to different operations across the country.
