WW2 veteran and an early figurehead of the United Nations Lt.Col (ret.) Sir Brian Urquhart has died aged 101. Urquhart is also known for his role in the planning stages of Operation Market Garden during his time in military intelligence. His warnings about the operation being impossible were sadly ignored.
