Serbia’s president pledged Sunday to defend the country’s law and order a day after opposition supporters stormed the national TV station, protesting against what they called his autocratic rule and biased grip on the country’s media.

The opposition clashes with police on Saturday and Sunday in Belgrade, the capital, were first major incidents after months of peaceful protests against populist President Aleksandar Vučić. The demonstrators are demanding his resignation, fair elections and a free media.

1000+ Ukrainian Fort-19 9x19mm pistols apparently seized by Iraqi Border Police, from a container apparently marked as "Toys". Credit to Calibre Obscura on Twitter @berkut76

Oh the irony. Those bastards were selling their Glocks to anyone with folding currency as fast as they were being issued...

Yes the Glock's provided to the Iraqi Police & other units were sold off and promptly used to shoot at allied Forces. Some of teh Iraqi Forces who were issued with Glocks and other weapons disappeared never to be seen again.

Other than being from Ukraine I have not seen any evidence the Ukrainian guns came directly from Ukraine.

Flashpoint Odessa. Elite police units across Ukraine are deployed to the city right now. In terms of equipment, the best I've seen across all the branches of Ukrainian security and armed forces.

In reply to my above post, here is small selection of recent special vehicles of Germany.

An armoured car "Sonderwagen 4" of the German Federal Police as seen in 2011 at a 60th anniversary show.
Looking somewhat military-ish, but still in a shade of dark green.

From the north of Germany. This thing is funny in three particular ways:
  1. "Polente" is an old German slang term for "Polizei" (Police).
  2. "Ente" (duck) is also a common nickname for the Citroen 2CV in Germany and Austria.
  3. This vehicle is officially owned and operated by the Schleswig-Holstein state police. It gets deployed at publicity shows.
