I can’t think of any motive for killing random bums. Homelessness in our cities or anywhere else is one topic that get me upset or slightly emotional.

^---Somebody tries doing that on a flight, I fully support doing whatever it takes to stop it from happening. At that point, it's a life-or-death situation. "No harm, no foul" for the subduing party if the "attacker" comes to a sticky end.

Agreed. It’s not being “unruly” but downright criminal and putting others at risk. Can’t believe this plonker is a father of one little poor boy. Time to call the British social service and kids protection on him.

Police are officially useless in the UK - replaced decent coppers with nancy - left wing idiots with a degree. A degree in poncing about and looking at Twitter all day
They need to get out of the cars and back on the street and cut out all this woke crap - once actual real crime is zero then they can pull stunts like this
Where were the Police when 1,000's of white English girls were getting abused - nowhere to be seen
I did post this the other day - the guy they arrested was an ex copper and had only reposted something that someone else had said - oddly they did not arrest Mr Fox

I have a number of hidden IP cameras on the nursery that are linked to my phone and the number of times people try to break into the nursery area at night is unbelievable - I bought a decent drone (and gaffa taped on a red lazer pointer), so I just throw it out of the door and buzz them a little. Given up reporting it to the police as they can't be bothered even though you have footage and quite often the van/car registration numbers
I was in one of the tunnels at dusk a couple of years ago with the door closed, and I saw someone walk past - this is 200 m from the gates
So I picked up a very large machete and moved very quietly to behind the person and then shouted in his ear - he turned round and when he saw the machete he wet himself. I marched him off the property, and he rang the police - so PC plod did turn up that night and told me to be more careful.......................... ffs
Thing is, if I went and gave them a good kicking, the police would arrest me

It's easier, safer, and far more rewarding in terms of career advancement to go after elderly people with a mouth than it is to chase down pedo rings in Birmingham. Am I recalling correctly that Birmingham was the center of the problem? If not, I apologize to Birmingham.

Not to mention that the elderly person statistically is likely to be a White Anglo Saxon, and thus much less like to file a hate crime accusation at Joe Plod. Heck, they're haters/racists/bigots just for being born White. ;-)

Genuinely sorry to hear about your personal story even more so since you made no secret you really quite live in the sticks, not even in a village. Well anyway, there’s no safe place to hide anymore and as far as Europe or the UK is concerned. Self defense is quite tricky to downright illegal.
We discussed this in a different thread. Cases of girls/women sexually abused and going to the police station only to have the cops bordering on mocking them.
Cases like yours of property trespassing or burglaries attempts.
Etc…
Basically the solution can only be political, an iron hand and giving the mean to the police to do its job again.
