Looks like some kind Coastal REC unit on an outpost. I wonder what feed they are acting to watch on a laptop? The cable connects to a regular LAN socket (rj45).
On 8 November 2018, while returning from NATO exercises, HNMOS Helge Ingstad collided with the 250-metre (820 ft) Maltese-flagged oil tankerSola TS and began taking in water. She was intentionally run aground.
Norwegian Defence Forces now confirm several of the wires which held the vessel in place have been torn, and #KNM HelgeIngstad has now effectively sunk (though the ensign still flies defiantly). last photo by Jacob Østberg/Forsvaret
Missiles have been removed from sunken #Norwegian#frigate#HELGEINGSTAD. This is the salvage plan: fuel is removed, chains placed under the ship; crane ship lifts the frigate into a flooded floating drydock which is pumped out to take the frigate to base
This KNM Helge Ingstad recovery is geting long in the tooth and it seems this will be extremely expensive , likely near total loss
''The Navy's mining diver command have removed all the torpedoes from the frigate KNM Helge Ingstad and detonated them.Half of the torpedoes were detonated in Hjeltefjorden on Thursday afternoon, the Defence Dept said on Friday morning. The same night, the Armed Forces informed that the remaining torpedoes were also detonated.
With that, all the torpedoes are detonated and rendered harmless, says a press release.
The seawater activated batteries in the torpedoes can react in contact with air and cause fire and harmful smoke. We consider the explosives themselves to be stable , says the commander of the mining diver command (MDK), the naval captain Bengt Berdal.''
