I think Trump 45 made it clear to Erdo that if you have some domestic issues which require you to get involved with Syria, that's one thing. But don't declare an Article V if things get hot with Russia. Basically, if you break it, you bought it. Turkey should be strong enough to suppress the aftermath. But let's face facts, if ISIS goes back to an orgy of murder, rape, slavery, torture - they will all need to be killed again. I'm not so sure that it will be so good for the world if the infamous Assad regime is overthrown by a reincarnation of ISIS with a Turkish tailwind. Then again, if I were Armenian I certainly wouldn't sleep easy. And I don't think for a state-like, therefore moderated enemy, the Israelis want a Hamas 2.0 up their ass in the Golan.
